I’ll be honest. When I sat in the editorial status meeting and heard that 82 year old Joe Kittinger was going to be the cover story, I got a little nervous about the type of visuals we were going to be able to pull-off without looking like an AARP newsletter. What I didn’t realize was just how epic and legendary the Col. is and how many fans he has all over the world. It was a pleasure working with him to make this cover a reality. He was a good sport and we ended up capturing a pretty cool image of him “flying” in the air tunnel.
